Upper Silesian Information System about Surface Hazards at areas of Abandoned Mines

Visualization of the regions of shallow coal and metal ore mining in the Upper Silesian Coal Basin (USCB). The spatial information set includes the location of mining areas established and abolished after 1945, the location of areas of shallow exploitation, the location of excavations connected to the surface (vertical and diagonal - shafts, galleries) collected from archival mining maps from before 1945 as well as places of post mining origin surface deformation events of a downward or uplifting nature.
